What is a TreeNet?

Treenets are adventure made art. These three-dimensional structures are hand made by professionals in the vertical, adventure and artistic world to merge harmoniously around trees, architectural elements and even on rock formations.

Each net is unique in shape, color and size as they are individually crafted to their environment and our clients desires.

They can be built close to the ground as a space to relax and share with friends, high up in the tree canopy for a good dose of adventure and adrenaline, as an artistic and functional addition to interior and exterior spaces. From interactive art to playgrounds for kids… The possibilities are endless.

We design and build other various artistic and interactive structures as well as organic play areas for children under the concept of doing dangerous things carefully.

We also provide services for consultancy regarding the development of adventure experiences.

We are a consulting and construction company not a tourist attraction. We create throughout Latin America and our main basecamp is in the south of Costa Rica.

We do not offer any courses at the moment, we are not hiring other professionals yet, but we do like to collaborate on occasions and share ideas to create.

We charge per project not per meter, they are all different and present us with different challenges. Our projects are highly personalized, high quality and we create on site according to design, technical specifications and anchor logistics. TreeNets are a piece of art that can not be repeated.

A simple project for a platform woven between trees for around 6 or 8 people can be between $5,000 and $10,000, a play area project or some more complex structure is usually in the range above $12,000 investment.

All our structures are very resistant and safety is intrinsic to our DNA, we are very aware that our clients trust their lives in our hands when using some of our structures. We are professional and we build only with materials that meet the highest quality standards.

The TreeNets alone in equalized form can easily support more than 20 kilonewtons (more than 2 thousand kilograms approximately), and this number could be even higher depending on where the structure is being built and the type of anchors that we create or have existing on site.

Yes, we often design and build free standing structures, even indoors where we create artificial anchors with various materials and we can build very fun structures without the need for trees.

No, trees are some of the strongest and most resilient natural structures there are, even so, for us taking care of trees and nature is a priority, which is why we rely heavily on dendrology studies and we have professional arborists who help us build our structures with the least possible impact and giving priority to the health of the trees. It is true that whenever we interfere in any way with tree she will suffer some type of stress, but we can greatly minimize it using the appropriate techniques and with the respect and love that they (the trees) deserve.
